MEET THE WORLD SAVERS

Two leaders.
One friendship.
Endless possibilities.

Meet Alex and Jonas. Experienced statesmen, dedicated diplomats, and very good friends. Unfortunately for the rest of the world, they’ve started having ideas together.

In Stubb & Støre Saves the World, international diplomacy meets the enthusiasm of two friends who are absolutely convinced they can sort things out. Preferably over coffee.

THE BIG-IDEA DEPARTMENT

Alexander “Alex” Stubb

The comic’s Finnish president

Optimistic, energetic, and delighted by possibility. Alex sees a complicated international problem and thinks: surely there’s something we can try?

His enthusiasm is infectious. So is his confidence that a group chat, a little friendship, and the right attitude might be all the world needs.

THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT

Jonas Gahr Støre

The comic’s Norwegian prime minister

Thoughtful, precise, and equipped with a very expressive silence. Jonas tends to notice the practical problems in Alex’s plans.

But he has ideas of his own. Give him enough time, and a cautious objection can turn into a carefully organised agenda for something completely ridiculous.

AT THE HEART OF IT

They mean well.
That’s where it starts.

The friendship comes first. Alex and Jonas respect each other, enjoy each other’s company, and genuinely want the world to get along. Together, they become more playful, more imaginative, and occasionally far too pleased with their own solutions.

From their shared secret headquarters in the Arctic, they bring Nordic common sense and excessive organisation to problems that refuse to cooperate. The joke is the distance between their good intentions and what happens next.

This is independent fictional satire. The characters are inspired by public figures; their private adventures, conversations, and diplomatic schemes belong to the comic.
